Dear Members, Both competitions started in April and concluded last week. Congratulations to Peter Baader who emerged victorious against Maite last weekend in the final of Match Play at the National. We had some extremely exciting matches, with the final result sometimes being decided by the last putt on the 18th hole. Well done to all the participants. Results We've also reached the end of the Asterisk competition with the last game at La Falnuee. I have to say it was very exciting, and the winners weren't decided until the very last day. Dear Members, A little update after the summer holidays and la rentrée. Good scores matched the weather for our weekend trip to Damme and Oostburg in the Netherlands. Both courses have plenty of water hazards and require accuracy to avoid penalty strokes! In Damme Dominic scored 40, Marie 38 and Paul 37 points. In Oostburg Deborah came home with incredible 45 points Stableford, Saila with 36 and Teresa with 35 points. Congratulations! Competition is fierce across the three categories and bragging rights and prizes are still to play for. See the latest situation of Asterix competition on this page. It started in April with 16 palyers but this week will see the final of the Club's matchplay competition. Good luck to Peter and Teresa (defending champion) who will contest the final. On 1 August the three « clubs with no course » (EUGC, IGC and MUGS) played their 2025 triangular match. With the weather being benign and the playing atmosphere being friendly, IGC came out victorious. The details can be found in the table. Warm thanks to the IGC and MUGS teams which agreed to limit the competing flights to six, as the EUGC could not field more than six players. Congratulations to all our competitors and especially Adrian NEALE (pictured above) on his excellent result!

Great ladies golf at Pierpont. On Wednesday 7 May we played the second edition of the Triangular, this time organised by EUGC, at Pierpont. The weather was mild and we even enjoyed some sun, but best of all was the atmosphere: great joy and friendly mood of all the participating ladies, 21 in total! The winner was Jacqueline Tordoir, from EUGC, with an impressive score of 39 points. And we also won the teams competition. Thanks to all our players and thanks to the perfect organisation by Victoria, Gosia and Maite!

The EUGC Club Championship took place on 25/05 at Pierpont. The day started rainy, but it really brightened up! See the results and photos. Well done to all the competitors.
